VeloVibe Hits the Road: Our First Live Event at She’s Electric 🚴✨
This weekend was a big one for VeloVibe – not only did we have our very first live event, but it was also our official launch weekend! We were thrilled to be part of She’s Electric in Gloucester, a brilliant e-cycling event organised by Loud Mobility and supported by Gloucestershire County Council’s ThinkTravel.
The day brought together some fantastic like-minded cycle businesses, from accessories brands Dashel Cycle Helmets and Vaela Cycling Jeans, to bicycle brands & dealers Tenways, Williams Cycles, ICE Trikes, TomCat & Voi Scooters. It was inspiring to see so much innovation and passion for getting more people on bikes.
For us, it was an amazing opportunity to connect with the public – chatting with curious first-timers, seasoned cyclists, and those who might not have considered cycling before. The feedback on our waterproof cycling coats and hi-vis Bodyglowers was brilliant (thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello 💛).
The atmosphere was buzzing. The showers passed quickly, the sun came out, and Gloucester’s cycle community truly shone. We loved hearing about the ThinkTravel team’s campaigns to make cycling easier, safer, and more accessible across the county – it’s exactly the kind of energy we want to champion. I hope to see this kind of enthusiasm in councils across the country.
And this is just the beginning! We’ll be back out on the road in two weeks’ time for our next event in Cheltenham, so watch this space.
About She’s Electric
She’s Electric is a national campaign from Loud Mobility, designed to inspire more women and girls to try e-bikes and e-cargo bikes for everyday journeys. Supported by Gloucestershire County Council’s ThinkTravel, the project offers a relaxed, inclusive space to gain confidence, get hands-on support, and experience the joy of electric cycling.
Whether it’s the school run, commuting to work, or just nipping into town, She’s Electric is about making that first ride easier – and a lot more fun.
