When my daughter started school a few years ago, I made the decision to swap the car for a bike and embrace year-round cycling as our main mode of transport for school runs and office commuting. But I quickly discovered that finding clothing and accessories suitable for everyday cycling – especially in the unpredictable British weather – was far from easy. Most options were designed for sporty, lycra-clad riders, not for women on e-bikes or cargo bikes doing the school run, commuting to work, or nipping out for the weekly shop.

Determined to find stylish, weatherproof and functional gear for real-life journeys, I came across  female-led, small European brands who truly understand what women need to cycle confidently, comfortably, and in style, in all seasons.
